Character History

Yoland Tugwood was created in Charissa Tugwood's application and he has continued to talk ever since. He went to Hogwarts in the Class of 1953 and was Sorted into Ravenclaw. He notes that Todd Mulciber was a Slytherin in that year and now the majority of the Gryffindors in the class of 1953 are dead, and while he says there was no evidence linking Todd Mulciber to any of those murders, it is not a mere coincidence. Yoland himself remains largely apolitical; his wife Elizabeth (Selwyn) Tugwood is political enough for both of them.

He fell in love with Christina (Selwyn) Urquhart at Hogwarts. She accepted his marriage proposal, but he was administered a love potion by his future in-laws and, as a result, married Elizabeth instead. He has been living with Elizabeth ever since. They have one child, Charissa. After Charissa's fourth birthday party, Elizabeth hexed Charissa, and from that time on, the marriage has deteriorated. Yoland lives in fear of Elizabeth and the Selwyn family and for that reason has not annulled the marriage. He has avoided the house for years.
