Character History

Mary Frobisher first appeared as a MLEP Officer during the Floo Network Heist of the Death Eaters in 1979.  

 

Mary is the oldest of four children.  She grew up in London and up until 1980, she had spent her entire life living there.  She was sorted into Gryffindor and became friends with Lydia Hooper, who would be her partner-in-crime for her entire Hogwarts career, Natalie (Prewett) Chambers, Rosemary (Robins) Frobisher, Howard Wintringham, Bhaksar Iyer, Darius Bagnold, and Cesare Harvey.   She had a crush on Archer Bowman althrough school, which was obvious.  However she never got along, either inside or outside of school, with Archer's friends, so it was left largely as a crush. 

 

She got in trouble quite often by the Prefects and the Heads in their year (Callisto Jones Smith and Robert Davies) and thus has not gotten along with them since.  At the end of fifth year, she lost her virginity to Darius Bagnold becuase (I know you've heard this one before) they were bored and curiosu to what it was like.  She and Darius never dated, they just slept together a few times.

 

Mary's NEWTs were just good enough for the MLEP, she worked there from the time she left school until she became pregnant with her first daughter.

 

Mary's time between school and when she married Archer Bowman in early 1980, was spent drinking, working, and fooling around with whoever was available and willing.  In 1975, when Lorna McFadden joined the MLEP, the two women became fast friends and were inseprable unless they were working (or shagging).  She had grown slightly apart from Lydia, who was focused on her work and also her relationship with Bill Whitby that her family completely and utterly hated, and was glad for her new friend.   Lorna would remain as Mary's confidant until her death in 1981.

 

Mary's life continued much the same until in 1979, after partying a little too much (by a little too much I mean a LOT A LOT), Mary, Lorna, and Ioan Barbary had a threesome.  Mary realized that this had gone to far and married Archer Bowman not much far longer.

 

However, Mary and Archer's marriage was rocky at the best of times and during their marriage Archer has left twice.

 

Mary filed for divorce the afternoon of 24 January 1982.

Only Ioan and Lorna know about the threesome. 

 

Only Archer knows how badly Mary took Lorna's death and how she is not really dealing with it, nor has she.

 

Only Darius and Lydia know that Archer has left Mary twice.  Fletcher and Bracer know about the first time.  And whoever has paid enough attention the most recent time or has gone to visit Lydia would know that Mary is not living at home and has basically moved into Lydia's guest bedroom.
