Character History
For Player Knowledge (FPK)
Excitable in her early years at Hogwarts, though this has mellowed with age (okay, only a little). Given the right situation (and usually that she's with Mahima) she will begin jumping up and down and deafening you, and ALLCAPS seem totally reasonable to her. Girly to an extent; it would be no surprise to see her doodling unicorns along with clockwork in her notes. When she's busy with a project, just about nothing can derail her until it's finished.
She and Mahima are nigh inseparable.
In a phrase: mad scientist. Sometimes unaware that she's speaking in jargon. Excels in Potions, Charms and Arithmancy, but maybe not as much as she would if she'd focus on the actual schoolwork and listen to the professors in class. Her practical work in Potions garnered her the favor of Slughorn, though Charms is definitely where her major strength lies. Has an uncanny ability to take things apart and put them back together, newly under her control. Many of these tweaks just happen to be of the exploding variety. Always carrying her pocketwatch, one that her father dismissed as broken but she fixed it. On occasion she will be seen fixing clocks that are off by a second or a minute; clockwork is one of her favorite pasttimes.
Ravenclaw Seeker briefly, now on reserve, but doesn't talk about Quidditch much. Pretty pure, but loves Muggle Studies and is best mates with Mahima Doge, a halfblood. Dated Brevis Birch (mostly as an experiment, to see how it'd be to have a boyfriend) and dumped him unceremoniously when he and his friends started to mock Sarah Prewett. She exploded one of his books while it was in his hand soon after.
OWL year has seen Maggie become much more serious and mature under the strain of exam anxiety. She is actually studying, a rarity, and that + experiments + Quidditch = a rather packed day. Still nice to most people, but less casual and nosy.
