Writes for the Daily Prophet's sports section. Infamous for his lack of spellcheck, capitalization and punctuation when writing on his own time, but his articles are more often than not cutting, relatively witty, and well-written enough to make one wonder if they're being ghost-written.
Lasair is casual to a fault in just about all relationships, and rarely raises his voice. He tends to speak in a perpetual quiet sort of deadpan (Steven Wright comes to mind). He dresses essentially out of a thrift shop bin and hasn't bought any new clothes since 1979. He is not so much unwashed as unkempt -- he only gets a haircut when his mother and sisters gang up on him to do so, and he shaves when it occurs to him (but he has never had serious facial hair).
It is relatively common knowledge that Lasair is rather regularly high on any sort of weed he can get his hands on. He knows many a Muggle or magical drug dealer and if asked, he will generally find a way to hook up someone with whatever illegal drug it is they want (though he frowns on harder stuff like heroin or crack).
He spends the majority of his time attending Quidditch matches and partying with his mates (Llewellyn and Summers, et tal). He has not once ever had a serious relationship with a woman, mostly because the majority of the time that he gets laid, it is with whatever female drug dealer or drug addict he has managed to convince into it.
He is very protective of his sisters (and of his family in general), but is generally not courageous enough to do anything but snarkily comment at those who attempt to hurt or defile them. He is generally not courageous to stand up for just about anything, also likely common knowledge (if someone stole his cloak in the dead of winter, he would probably let it go).
He finds Regan Robins incredibly attractive (engagement or not). This is nowhere near a secret, but Lasair will not be happy if it's brought up. Daily Prophet people probably cannot help but notice this.
