Lance Morgan's mother is actually Saundra Cam, a Muggle to whom his father, Hugh, was once married. Hugh had an affair with his current wife, Guinevere, who got pregnant with Gaheris in 1963. When Gaheris was born, Hugh Confunded his first wife, Saundra, and married Guinevere. Lance does not know who his mother is, nor do the other boys. His name was changed to "Lancelot Morgan" in the birth records, although somewhere in the Muggle world, specifically at the North Wales Hospital, there is still a birth certificate for a Jonathan Cam Morgan floating around. The only people who know the full extent of the scandal are Hugh Morgan and his wife, Guinevere.
