General Knowledge of Hogwarts Students:

Kitty is an '82 Irish Slytherin girl. Depending on how much people are interested in those, they may also be aware that she is: quiet when she's by herself, but loud with friends. Her older brother, Simon, died in the Diagon Alley riot in May. She had a kitten named Miss Mittens at the beginning of the 77-78 schoolyear, which was killed.

General Knowledge of Year/Housemates:

Kitty is pureblood. She's best friends with Abby Spinks. She also considers herself to be friends with Chava Goldstein and Dionysia Borgin. She gets along with most people, actually, but she had a falling out with Heather Hornby at the beginning of their third year. Boys are a different story: she thinks Octavian and Nicholas are childish, Heathcote is too stuffy, and she feels obligated to be friendly to Aren but isn't often successful. Her opinions of boys outside of her house are hazier, although she rooted for Abby/Teagan. Kitty also has a little sister in Ravenclaw. She talks a lot about her older brother, Stephen, too, and likes to stay with him over the hols. Kitty's not exactly a tomboy (she might like to play Quidditch if she'd had more opportunity when she was younger, and she really likes to watch matches), but she's also far from being a lady.

General Knowledge of Friends (see above):

Will probably mock Heather with them or express discuss at Nicholas and Octavian's behavior, and so on. She was very upset about her kitten dying. She is friends with Marquesa Giovanni, who is her brother Stephen's girlfriend. Marquesa also helps her with Arithmancy. Kitty is not a great student and not prefect material, but she's got a talent for Charms. She doesn't work herself too hard and is pretty average, in terms of her marks and just overall.

Knowledge of Abby Spinks:

Kitty talks to Abby more than to anyone else outside her family. Abby would know a lot about Kitty's feelings about Miss Mittens and Simon's deaths. If Kitty fancied someone, she'd tell Abby first. Abby would be the one to know the most about how Kitty feels about her family (she loves Stephen and Maggie, but is distant from Mary and thinks her mother is kind of awful, because she is).

Knowledge of Maggie Calhoun:

Kitty would basically tell Maggie just about anything, unless she felt a sisterly need to protect her from something.

Secrets:

Kitty occasionally has nightmares because Severus Snape and Alecto Carrow once practiced hexes on her when she was in first year. Stephen does know about this and Maggie might since they share(d) a bedroom at home. She still feels very bad that she and Heather are no longer friends, but is also sort of relieved by the break. I don't think she thinks very much about politics, but she is more likely to adopt her brother's views than the rest of her family's anti-Muggle opinions.
