Character History
Imogene first appeared in Leviosa for being upset over the death of Hannah Figg and was also unable to buy school supplies after the money from the MCOO went missing due to the murder of Phillip Hampling.
Her family transplanted to Wales when she was three, so she pretends to be more Welsh than she actually is. Her mother is Welsh though, so it's not completely an act, but her father is very English. She's the youngest of four, her three older brothers all attended Eton.
She comes from a wealthy Muggle family and prior to Hogwarts enjoyed many of the benefits of being of an elite class. Her owl to Hogwarts was a hard adjustment for her to make and sometimes she still has difficulties with it.
She is very best friends with Charlotte Branstone and Jill Davies and tries to fit in with them, although sometimes she fails. She had a close friendship with Bracer Bowman, who shares her love for Muggles and the Muggle world, that eventually led to dating. She also considers Tor Robards, Octavian Flint, Palmer Pinkstone, and Maddie Frobisher friends.
On 29 February 1980, Giants attacked the Muggle neighborhood her father was living in London and he was killed. Since the attacks, she grew closer a lot Bracer Bowman and is now rarely seen without him in tow. Several events of their Sixth Year drew them closer together.
Because of Imogene's fear that the rest of her family would be killed and because of her brother's newfound bigotry towards her, Imogene's mother and oldest brother left the country and Imogene spent the summer living in London. It was planned for her to live with Sorcha Magee, but after an incident with a dementor, which could have led to Bracer, Imogene, and Sorcha all being Kissed, she spent the rest of the summer living with Bracer and his sister, Arbalest.
Sight and Sound Meme
1. Imogene's voice is closer to medium than it is high, but it is on that end of the spectrum. She has a slight Welsh accent (very slight), but when she does important functions she can hide it really well. It gets worse when she's around the Hufflepuffs though, because a large sort of her friends are Welsh. Her giggle does tend to carry though and the more excited she is the faster she talks and the more obvious her accent gets.
Also, you can usually hear Imogene before you see her, because her shoes make a soft click-click sound. She is almost wearing some variant of heel.
2. Imogene is hard for me because sometimes I still think of her old PB, but I think it's because I imagine her wearing her hair like her old PB did. Up away from her face with her fringe swept to the side and straight. It's about shoulder-length, but not quite as light blonde as her PB has now. She always has her make-up and nails done and always seems very put together, because she is. It takes her about 45 minutes to get ready every morning because of her make-up and on Hogsmeade weekends she needs about 20 minutes to get dressed. She usually wears pastel colours when she's in Muggle clothes.
She stands at about 5'5" and is on the thin side. She and Jill are basically the same exactly size.

3. Who are your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
Robert and Frances Jacobs. Dad worked in politics until he died and Mum stays at home of course. We kind of have a load of money, so Mum doesn't have to work. My family is in society as they say here in the Magical world, they're Muggles. Actually, my whole family are Muggles. But Dad and Mum are kind of strict with me when I'm home for hols, but I think that's because they worry about me being gone for ten months out of the year. They miss me and I miss them. But anyway, my parents are strict. They value education so when I'm not here, I get private lessons from a tutor.
Oh Dad is English and Mum is Welsh.
Although I spent most of the summer studying for A-Levels with Bracer and his sister, Ballista.
4. Do you have any siblings? What are they like?
Albert, Geoffrey, and Phillip Jacobs. Albert is 26 and is finishing up law school at Oxford. He's pretty straight, I mean. He's like my parents, strict but he still loves me and everything. He's married to a nice girl named Eleanor and they moved with my mum to New York so he could join a law firm there.
Geoffrey is 23 plays polo at St. Andrews. Polo is kind of boring, but I have to go watch a lot during summer hols. I guess he's going to medical school now, but I don't talk to him because he's a huge prat. He blames me for my father's death and it probably is my fault for being Magical, but he is just terrible. He won't talk to me anymore and he wouldn't even talk to me after I got displaced this summer.
Phillip is 21 and Albert says that he goes to school to drink and shag girls, but. I don't know about that. He says he wants to do business. He is better than Geoffrey, but he is still kind of a prat. But at least he can try to be nice.
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, Powys, Wales is where I used to live when I was at home. I lived there with my parents and Phillip when he's home from school. It was a really huge house just outside the village. My bedroom wass light blue and I've had a white duvet (although, I do still have my duvet and I took it to school with me and everything). It's really pretty with huge windows and everything. I really like it.
When I'm at school, I live with Charlotte, Jill, and Ayati. Jill and Charlotte are great. I mean, we get along great. Eve used to live with us but she decided not to come back from term. (But really I sleep in the boy's dorm with Bracer most nights, even though that is not allowed.)

I'm 5'5" and I have blue eyes. I kind of look like Jill, except I don't have any freckles. I wear a lot of skirts and cardigan, certainly not trendy, but I always look put together. I wear make-up everyday. My hair is kind of a brassier blonde and it's down to my shoulders. Not to be vain or anything, but I usually look pretty nice.
8. To which social class do you belong?
Upper. I mean, I'm not going to lie. But that's just in the Muggle world, in the Wizarding World, I'm pretty poor. It's kind of strange.
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
Nope! Healthy as a horse.

Right-handed
11. What does your voice sound like?
Welsh! And kind of on the higher side, but not too high. I don't sound like Elita Montague who sounds like a harpy. I mean, it's fairly normal, it just gets highish whenever I get excited.

I love you, but that is really just to Bracer.
13. What do you have in your pockets?
My wand and a couple of quills.
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I like to recreate giant quill battles in the courtyard, that's pretty strange, even though I don't do that as much anymore. I don't know, I probably do, I just can't think of any right now.
15. How would you describe your childhood in general?
Happy, until Hogwarts. I was really upset about that. But really it's still going on, but since I came here things have been all right. I really like being at home where I don't have to think about all the drama going on here in the Wizarding World.

Waking up while we were on holiday in France and listening to my parents speak. I was two.

Loads before Hogwarts and now I'm in my sixth year at Hogwarts

Of course.

School and from everyone around me with everything. I mean, I guess since my parents don't know about magic, I didn't learn about magic from them. But a lot of other things, I've learned from my parents. They're really great.
