Character History
Corliss Aubrey is the second child, the youngest, and the only girl of Leonard Aubrey and Tisiphone Thomas Aubrey. Leonard Aubrey serves on the Wizengamot and Tisiphone works in the Luxembourg office in the Department of International Magical Cooperation. She has one brother, Bertram Aubrey, who works in the Gobstones Office in the Department of Magical Games and Sports.
Corliss is a loud personality with a loud mouth. She says what she thinks and does what she feels, and she has very little regard for the opinions of others. She is honest to a fault. She'll try anything once or even twice to make sure, and if her parents tell her not to put her hand on the stove, you can bet she's going to stick her hand on that stove and get burned. Her life has been one of rebellion, and she is known for her sexual misconduct and various other forms of misconduct in which she frequently participates. Corliss lives for right here, right now, today, and she lives life to the fullest - and then some.
In February 1981, Corliss Aubrey became pregnant with the child of Thomas Hooper, in spite of using multiple potions on a regular schedule. She hid the pregnancy from everyone she knew, including close family and friends, choosing instead to wait until she could have the baby quietly and put him up for adoption. This plan went to hell on 1 November 1981, when she gave birth to her son, Geoffrey Hooper, in Moaning Myrtle's toilet in the company of Lyn Warrington. She decided not to give up the baby and, a trip to St. Mungo's and an owl to Thomas Hooper later, she and Thomas Hooper became parents. They have named Francis Longbottom and Lyn Warrington the godparents to Geoffrey Hooper. Both Corliss and Thomas signed a magical contract agreeing to complete their NEWTs and marry in July 1981.
Until July 1981, Geoffrey Hooper will remain in the care of Rose Longbottom and Maisie Davies.

Bertram Aubrey kept Corliss Aubrey under Imperius during her fifth year, the 1979-1980 school year. This is known to no one but Bertram and Corliss, but her change in behavior to a milder, more timid personality while the curse was active was obvious to anyone who would have noticed.
