Character History
For Player Knowledge (FPK)
DJ who tends to run his mouth and is more than happy to take callers. Never overplays a song. Started in the music business and wandered into DJing instead because the hours were better for raising kids. Never talks about his kids on the air.
Played Chaser during Hogwarts for Hufflepuff; was pretty decent but not good enough for U21. Harbored an idiotic fancy that rendered him useless for Jessica Baker (who was a year older) throughout her sixth and seventh years. Won her over in the summer of 1967 and married her two years later. She left the workforce (working in an apothecary, preparing ingredients) to raise their increasing brood of children.
On 13 January 1981, Benny and his father walked into their house to find Jessica bloodily murdered and a Death Eater prepared to kill the children sleeping there. Though they overpowered the Death Eater, he fled and no progress has been made in the case.
Since Jessica's murder Benny has barely missed a day for work and pressed on for his children's sake. If asked about his children, he is very proud of his eldest, Lexi, who is due to enter Hogwarts in the fall of 1982. The entire brood is quite Quidditch-obsessed.
