Description

 

Barnabus is 5'11 and thin.  He has brown hair and blue eyes.  He has a rather charming smile and is most of the time rather easy to get along with, especially if you know which buttons not to push.  He has a tattoo on his back (of what is to be decided) and can usually be found out in the company of his various friends: Greg Cotton, Abby Jenkins, Pallas Gumboil, Ace Jordan, the Cadwallders, Brogan O'Hare, Lotho Marchbanks, and his various Quidditch teammates and former teammates.

Character History

 

Banarbus Blenkinsop was born to a Squib, Lorrainne Blenkinsop.  She was disowned when she was 15 and took her mother's maiden name as a surname.  She worked in the Wizarding World for a few years.   When she was 21, she had Barnabus after an affair with the very married Absolon Marchbanks and left the Wizarding World for good.

 

Barnabus moved several times when he was younger.  When he was three, his brother Brock was born and then Trent two years later.  Their father moved in with the family in November 1953, when she first found out she was pregnant with Brock.  Barnarbus never got along with their father and Brock and Trent's father had temper issues and shoved Barnarbus around, literally.  Barnarbus was not one to take anything lying down quietly and didn't just take it.  Not to mention, that he was a 'weird' kid who displayed signs of magic from a young age so not only did he have emotional outbursts, he had magical ones as well.  This also got him in trouble at every school he ever attended.  However, after being told by Brock that something was 'wrong', their mother finally came home to see Brock and Trent's father physically harming her son in October 1957, which ended that relationship.

 

Barnabus would continue to have outbursts which would follow him even to Hogwarts. He didn't know about magic until he received his owl, his mother has feelings about Hogwarts but allowed her children to go anyway.  Barnabus would have outbursts there, getting angry whenever someone mentioned anything that bothered him.  The only difference was there, they were resolved with he and Oram Pritchard attempting to beat the crap out of one another.

 

He luckily was talented at Quidditch so that took some of his emtional energy and played Professionally when he left school.  He has played on various teams since then and still has been known to have several outbursts during matches, especially when they play the Falcons.

 

Barnarbus is very loyal to his siblings.  He picks on Brock the most because Brock is the next one in line, but he does care for his siblings, even if he has problems showing it.  He definitely does not want any of his friends sleeping with Hayley or her friends.  He unfortunately has met his friends.  However, he and Everett Tugwood frequently claim to have slept with each other's mothers.

For Player Knowledge (FPK)

 

No one except Barnabus's mother and perhaps Patricia Marchbanks know that Barnarbus is Absolon's child.  Barnabus certainly does not and will not ever know this.  For all intents and purposes he assumes that his father was a Muggle.  He also thinks of himself as Muggleborn since he was raised like a Muggle until he was 11.  He certainly embraces the Muggle lifestyle, even if he tones it down when he is in the Wizarding World.  He is quite happy to spend the day playing at an arcade or going to the cinema.

 

Barnabus has a violent temper.  Most 69ers probably know this, as well as 70ers who paid attention, such as Evalina Annick, John Pucey, Archer and Lotharius Marchbanks.
